Original diagnosis/description
Samaroid fruit with a prominent apically extended elongate-elliptical wing appendage, hypanthium conical, enclosing two-thirds of an elliptical and apically pointed seed chamber. Wing with a prominent midvein and other parallel veins. The fruit length is about 3.8 times that of the seed chamber.
Etymology
The epithet name “tibetensis” refers to where these fossils were collected.
