Florin rings reduced or absent, stomatal apparatus less cutinized than epidermal cell walls, 38.3–70.1 μm long and 34.4–63.8 μm wide. Stomata in very discontinuous rows, appearing randomly distributed, the stomata randomly oriented in relation to the major leaf axis, with four to five subsidiary cells arranged in a ring. Epidermal cells irregularly shaped.
