Follicle apparently astipitate, narrowly oblong and slightly flattened laterally, with a distinct ridge along the ventral margin. Ventral slit extends for the entire length of the follicle and over the topological apex to the abaxial side. Stigmatic area distinct, elliptical, on a shallow double crest at the distal end of the ventral slit. Follicle surface smooth to strongly wrinkled. Follicle wall supplied by one dorsal and two lateral bundles. Placentation marginal-linear with many anatropous ovules. Seeds ellipsoidal with reticulate surface. Seed coat with three layers.
