Original diagnosis/description
Staminate flowers in dense inflorescences composed of numerous flowers. Stamens often with long filaments up to twice the length of the anthers. Anthers consisting of 2 pairs of pollen sacs separated by a broad massive connective with numerous stomata or stomata-like secretory pores. Diameter of inflorescence, ca. 2.5 mm. Length of stamen, 1.2–2.0 mm; length of filament, 0.7–1.4 mm; length of pollen sacs, 0.4–0.6 mm; breadth of pollen sacs 0.35–0.6 mm; length of apical connective, <0.05 mm. Length of pollen, ca. 12 μm; equatorial diam. of pollen, ca. 10–11 μm.
