Original diagnosis/description
Spores radial, trilete. Amb variably subtriangular; sides strongly to weakly concave or (uncommonly) almost straight; apices obtusely rounded (uncommonly ± truncate). Laesurae distinct, simple, straight, almost attaining equatorial margin. Exine 0.7–1.2 μm thick, finely granulate overall or mainly distally, grana discrete, rarely exceeding 0.9 μm in height and basal diameter, scattered or fairly densely distributed.
