Original diagnosis/description
Spores large, radial, trilete. Amb circular–subcircular. Laesurae distinct to perceptible, simple, length ca. 0.4 to 0.7 of amb radius. Exine 2.3–4.5 μm thick, comprehensively, densely, and negatively sculptured, i.e., foveolate– vermiculate. Foveolae subcircular in outline, 0.5–5 μm in diameter; vermiculi unbranched, 0.7–8.5 μm long, 1–2 μm wide; elements discrete, up to 1.5 μm deep, ca. 0.5–11 μm apart.
