Original diagnosis/description
Medium-sized, amphistomatic leaves with infrequent venation, 2–3 thin veins alternating with each thick vein. Cells of adaxial cuticle oblong, stomata irregularly dispersed. Cells of abaxial cuticle oblong, pentagonal to hexagonal, stomata in stomatal rows forming stomatiferous bands, prominent oval crypt.
Etymology
From the type locality at Malé Svatoňovice, next to Rtyně v Podkrkonoší.
