Original diagnosis/description
Fern foliage fragmentary, preserved parts of fronds double pinnate, pinnae at the angles of 60 to 70°, narrow elongate, up to 60 mm long and 20 mm broad, pinnules almost of the same size, elongate or slightly falcate, gradually diminishing in size towards tips of pinnae, arranged in weekly catadromy to isodromy, sessile “aletopterid”, up to 10 mm long and 4 mm broad at base, spinose at tips, subcordate to obliquely truncate, symmetrical, rounded or shortly decurrent at base, densely spiny toothed on margin, venation simple free, midrib straight, secondary veins craspedodromous, slightly bent apically, simple or rarely forked, in ca. 7 pairs, blades partly sterile, some with sporangia, sori in 1 row on each side of midrib, in up to 6 pairs or solitary
near the midrib, covered by rounded indusia up to 1.5 mm in diameter, centrally attached, partly leaving only rounded traces.
Etymology
Epithet commemorating the Czech palynologist, Mrs. Blanka Pacltová, professor of the Charles University, who died suddenly in Prague on the 2nd February 2019.
