Original diagnosis/description
Ultimate branch slender, with longitudinal strips developed on the internode. Leaf-whorl small, forming two marked lobes, generally 10–12 leaves in each lobe. Leaves linear to oblanceolate in form, unequal in size, broadest near four-fifths of the length from the base, with a distinct mucro developed in the acute apex, united for about one-third to three-fourths of their length, midrib marked. Proximal gap distinctly larger than the distal gap. Terminal whorl not divided into lobes, forming a single rounded whorl.
Etymology
The specific epithet is named after the Linjia Formation from Liaoning, Northeast China.
