Original diagnosis/description
Spores radial, trilete, with convexly subtriangular amb. Laesurae ± distinct, straight or undulant, length 0.7–0.9 of spore radius; simple or with narrow, commonly irregular lips or exinal folds up to ca. 5 μm in overall width. Exoexine laevigate to faintly scabrate, 0.9–1.5 μm thick. intexine laevigate, thickness similar to or slightly greater than exoexine, occupying bulk (average 85%) of spore cavity, outline in polar view ± conforming with amb.
