Original diagnosis/description

Hypostomatic leaves with relatively dense venation. Thin veins are indiscernible. Adaxial cuticle with oblong cells, abaxial cuticle with stomata arranged into well defined stomatal rows joined into stomatiferous bands. The lateral cells are oblong, the polar cells rhomboidal, characteristic transverse crypt.

Etymology

From the Malesice unit, which includes the Mšec Members.
