Original diagnosis/description
Nuts subglobose, smooth, basally rounded, ca. 3–4 mm in diameter, thin walled, square or elliptical in transverse section. A high primary septum and a lower secondary septum well developed. Locule basally four lobed with two lobes on either side of the primary septum. Basal lobes concave toward primary septum (fig. 6A, 6F). Wings not preserved.
Etymology
Named after its type locality in southern Trinity County, Texas.
