Original diagnosis/description

Elongated compound inflorescence consisting of robust main axis and helically arranged secondary axes with helically arranged lateral inflorescence units. Each lateral unit is supported by a bract and consists of two to four flowers. Flowers supported by a bract and arranged singly or in clusters of two. Flowers bisexual, actinomorphic, trimerous with inner tepals narrow and twice as long as outer tepals. The androecium has well-developed stamens onsisting of a filament and bilocular anthers that open by valves.

Referring to the suggested lauraceous affinity of the fossil.
